I have used multiple different new ethernet cables as well as a cross over cable and the internet continued disconnecting every so often. Windows 7 Loses Network Connection Intermittently None of the proposed solutions (new driver, no power save, flush dnscache, disable ip v6 etc) did work. My internet connection still "no network access available" 🙁 Its really bad. I'm using a Netgear WN111v2 (USB) Wi-Fi Adaptor (v3 drivers which include all W7 versions) and a Netgear WNR2000 router connected to Virgin Broadband.
